Description:
This instrument and is designed and manufactured according to the standard of ISO2409-1992.

Applicable to GB /T9286-98, BS 3900E6/ASTM D3359.
The instrument draw the grid of a certain size by a certain specification of the tools by using the uniform force,cut and penetrate the coating to be a grid lattice graphics, to evaluate the adhesion of coating on the substrate through the assessment of the full extent of the grid.

Uses
1. The instrument is mainly suitable for organic coating adhesion assay Hatch.

3. Working principle and scope

Technical Specification:
1.Multi-blade cutter spacing are: 1+0.01mm, 2+0.01mm.

Instruction:
1.The specimen must be prepared according to ISOR1514 and ISO2828 requirements.
2.The test piece is placed on the tablet hardness sufficient.

Please Attention:
1.All cuts should be through the coating, but not too deep cut substrates.

3.The test must be a US company 3M tape produced 610-1PK special tape test(or otherwise specified test tape). The tape posted on the whole cross hatch, and then tore off the minimum angle, the result may be in proportion to the gum off the area determined according to the film surface.
4.The test should be carried out at a temperature of 23 ± 2 ℃ and relative humidity of 50 ± 5%.
